College Seminary
A. BRIEF HISTORY
The Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity College Seminary is owned and operated by the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT), a religious congregation of priests, sisters, and lay apostles, founded by Fr. James H. Flanagan on July 16, 1958 with a mission to work in areas of deepest apostolic needs. The priests' community saw the need to put up a seminary because of the growing numbers of seminarians who wanted to join the Society of our Lady. For two decades after the SOLT established a community in the Philippines, particularly in the Sacred Heart Parish, Cabasan, Bacacay, province of Albay, seminarians were scattered to different seminaries in the country for philosophical & theological studies. With the direction of the late Cardinal Sin, the community moved for an academic centralization in 1994. This time the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary (Philosophy studiesl) and the Holy Rosary Major Seminary (Theology studies) in Naga City were chosen as the central seminaries for the past 18 years now.
As early as year 2000, the community saw the need to really establish a seminary which could cater particularly to the vision, mission and charism of SOLT as religious congregation. After many enduring efforts, the community was given the temporary permit (No.07-0, series of 2009) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to open and conduct the 1st Curriculum year of the course Bachelor of Arts major in Philosophy 2009-2010. That was the year when the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, declared it to be the Year for Priests. What an apt affirmation of the community's dream to have a seminary!
The seminary is located in Sitio Langon, Brgy. Cararayan, Naga City. Twenty-two (22) seminarians served as pioneers with four priest-formators taking charge of the formation on full time basis. On July 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM, Bishop Jose Rojas, D.D, of the Diocese of Libmanan blessed the seminary and has celebrated the Holy Mass for the closing of the 50th Jubillee celebration of the SOLT in the world.
B. PROGRAM OF FORMATION
The SOLT Asia-Pacific Region, owner of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity College Seminary (OLMHTCS), has tried to seek new ways in living out the mission of the SOLT with the inspiration of its founder, Fr. James H. Flanagan to “serve in areas of deepest apostolic needs for the full development of peoples leading them to become disciples of Jesus and Mary,” so also, OLMHTCS has earnestly tried to find fresh alternatives in facilitating and effecting a tertiary education that pursues an education that is religious and missionary – where the student is formed to be truly a disciple and as one who lives out the baptismal commitment to preach the Kingdom of God on earth. Thus, OLMHTCS commits itself to the realization of the SOLT's Vision-Mission-Charism.

The OLMHTCS Education aims for the total human and Christian formation of the person towards his union with God.
