To celebrate this year's Buwan ng Wika, the OLMHTCS family, together with its theologian brothers, held Shared Intramurals 2011 with the theme: "Pagdadamayan at pagkakaibigan, ilaw at lakas sa tuwid na landas" on August 17-20.
The activity was formally opened with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Martin A. Penetrante in the church of the Mater Salutis Parish, together with the seminary priest formators. Decalogus, Oratio, Credo and Sacramenta were the names of the teams composed of college men, theolgian brothers, OLMHTCS teaching and non-teaching staff and priest formators. The intramural events included ball games, track and field, literary contests and Laro ng Lahi. Filipino culture and the use of the Filipino language were highlighted in the various events. A most fruitful activity for everyone, the intramurals nurtured the gift of graced-friendship of the SOLT community as well as strengthened its Filipino spirit. Culminating with the awarding of certificates and tokens of appreciation, the success of the intramurals was measured by the joy and cheers earned through the spirit of brotherhood and sportsmanship.
