Show all newsFr. Zachary visits the seminary
Last January 21-26 of this year, the OLMHTCS was blessed with the presence of Fr. Zachary of the Mother of God. While in the house he gave spiritual conferences to the seminarians, brothers in theology, and the SOLT Lay based in Naga City. Fr. Zach discussed the importance of the laity in the Church. His intense talk on Mission and Holiness made deep impression to the young college men. He had proceeded with a second session particularly for the seminarians. The goal was to make them understand what challenges and fulfillments priests undergo through the joys and sorrows experienced by their families, and the “Path towards Holiness” which they have to take to become worthy “fishers of men”.
After the sessions, one thing was evident among the hearers, a renewed eager longing to live out and follow Christ more closely.
