MASS FOR PRESIDENT CORY AQUINO

On August 05, 2009, the OLMHTCS community will be one with the whole Filipino people in paying respect to the former president of the Philippines, Corazon C. Aquino, known as "Cory" to many, as she bid farewell to the nation in a solemn celebration of her internment. She will be united with her husband, Ninoy Aquino whose love for the Filipino people is exemplary, so much that he gave up his very life that led to the unbloody revolution in 1986 that toppled the Marcos dictatorship of 20 years.

A Holy Mass will also be celebrated at the chapel of OLMHTCS at 6 PM for the eternal repose of the soul of Cory Aquino, whose memory will forever be remembered as the icon of democracy and a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ - a truly devoted Catholic.

Seminarians and priests will be tying yellow ribbon at their chest to make alive the memory of Cory during the EDSA revolution.
